Introduction
     is   situated  in  the  lower  part  of  the  northern  region  of  Thailand. Recent  excavations  have  indicated  that  this area was inhabited by prehistoric people. There are several tourist attractions and places of interst  but  because  because  the  township  area is far from the main highway  few  visitors  make  the  trip  to this interesting province. Uthai Thani  occupies  a  total  are  of  6,730  square kilometers located 219 kms.  from  Bangkok . It  is  divided  into  8  Amphoes  (district); Muang Uthai  Thani,   Nong  Khayang,   Nong  Chang,   Thap  Than,  Ban Rai, Sawang Arom, Lan Sak and Huai Khot.

How to get there
By Car
     Uthai  Thani  is accessible by taking Highway No.1 (Phaholyothin Rd.) and turn left at Bang Pa-In  interchance  for  Highway No.32 (Asia Rd.) via Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Angthong, Sing Buri, Chainat and turn left at Km. No.206 to Uthai Thani for 22 kms.

By Bus
     Both  air-conditioned  bus  and  non  air-conditioned  bus leave from the Northern Bus Terminal (Mor Chit2) on /khamphaengphet Rd. every day from 05.00 a.m. - 06.00 p.m
